- This document sets out the Council's preferred options for site specific proposals for future minerals and waste development and other supporting site specific proposals in the Earith Mepal Area. The plan makes provision to meet, through mineral extraction and restoration, the strategic need for additional flood alleviation capacity in association with the Ouse Washes. It also makes provision for other afteruses including habitat creation, recreation and winter water storage.
