To guide the development and growth of Peterborough, the Council is preparing a new planning document called the “Core Strategy”. This will contain the vision, objectives and overall strategy for the future of the city and surrounding villages over the next 15 years and beyond.
We need a new strategy because there are substantial pressures for growth. We need to decide where and when new developments can take place and we want to create a better Peterborough for everybody who lives and works here, and for our visitors.
